A new study on e-Government Interoperability

A new publication on e-Government interoperability is now available thanks to the EU-China Information Society Project http://www.eu-china-infso.org
The study provides a comparative research between China and the EU, focusing on eGovernment Interoperability with the aim to device a set of recommendations for the development of an Interoperability Framework for e-Government in China.
The Research has analyzed the Interoperability related mechanism, standards, practices in China and the EU concerning Government information-sharing and service cooperation.
Specific aims of this study are:
- Compilation of an overview of the results of existing interoperability research work in the Public Sector in the EU and China;
- Recommendation of strategies for the design of an Interoperability Framework;
- Recommendation of further actions necessary to ensure e-Government Interoperability (cooperation among Government bodies).

Finally, the study will provide suggestions for the creation of an Interoperability Framework in China.
